The first owner of the hotel Mrs. Veronika Bohmannova, married her husband Karel Bohmann in Babylon. The house she lived in, had a straw-covered roof (guessed or reed). This house later was rebuilt by her into a restaurant where guest could buy soup and beer. From 1910, she increased the restaurant and also some rooms were built, where summer guests could sleep.

In the year 1925, the restaurant became in cooperation with Mr. Ing. Hrabacka rebuilt. It had already the present-day proportion at that time. A hall was built additionally for 120 people and a tennis court to it. The beds capacity amounted to 52 beds. So, the hotel grew economically until the year 1939.

After the year 1941, the hotel was annexed by the German army and was rebuilt with doctor's offices and bed stations of military hospital. After the departure of the German army, it was brought again into his original condition. In 1945, the American army lived in the hotel as far as to their departure to Pilzn.

From 1950, bad times came for the owner Veronika Bohmann. From 1950 to 1953, it kept up for after to the nationalization of her property. The hotel was renamed to hotel Cerkov. In the year 1991, the hotel was returned to the community of heirs of Mrs. Veronika Bohmann in scruffy and plundered condition.

In the year 1995, 1/3 of the hotel become renovated totally the restaurant and the guest rooms have been completely renewed. In the following years, also the last 2/3 of the hotel was renovated. At the moment the hotel has 67 beds. The rooms are completely equipped. A modern tennis court became built in the years 2004 - 2005 as well one in bad weather to roofing swimming pool, so that our guests can act athletically and also relax. We plan and work at additional facilities for our guests…………!
